Nistalgia Release Party
Good morning! I'm so excited today and so happy to witness my friend and sister, Karina Nistal, continue to surpass herself. I'm honored to be featured on her sophomore album, Nistalgia, the highly anticipated follow up to her award winning and critically acclaimed debut, Nistyle.

Driven
Sometimes I think I'm too driven. When confronted with the idea of driving myself crazy or even the question "is my lifestyle driving you away?" I imagine myself driving away from it all, if only temporary.
Throughout my life I've moved a lot and when you travel as much as I do you look for a home. Turns out I've already had one (in a way of sorts). As much as I try to rationalize it I am more comfortable on the road than I am home sometimes. Maybe its the way I was raised or I'm wired a certain way from birth. I'm not a robot though, if I was I'd be a Transformer.
As I type this I'm surrounded by pictures, posters, plaques and paintings I have yet to hang up, boxes I have yet to unpack, clothes and shoes I have yet to wear. Crazy, but such is life or at least the lifestyle I lead is a 24/7 enterprise which I am the President and CEO, the janitor and the doorman. My favorite role is that of the driver which I maintain with lead foot and from time to time a need for speed.
I digress a bit, but besides the shows, the press and my ultimate goals, I'm doing my best to enjoy the journey. Sometimes I enjoy it literally for the road.
Road trip anyone?

My 5 Favortie: Snacks
5. Power Bar - If you've never had one think of it as energy packed rice crispy treat. These are good for those middle of the day drops in energy.
4. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - Thick and soft, flavorful and delicious. I'm in love with the cookies and will be in love with anyone who can make them from scratch. Add a glass of Milk and we'll be in business.
3. Haribo Gummi Bears - Pocket sized is the most important part of this one. I often stash them in my bag, eat in the studio and snack on them backstage. The important fact is they are made with bovine gelatin (which is from cows) so its friendly to those like me who do not eat pork.
2. Pineapples - Chopped, Diced or Sliced. Need I say more?
1. Honey Bunches of Oats - You can't go wrong with this one. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dessert - it doesn't matter. I have a well documented devotion or addiction (depending who you ask) to this line of Cereals including Almonds, Cinnamon Bunches & Vanilla Clusters.

This year's Virgin Mobile Free Fest Line Up is amazing. The roster already includes T.I., Ludacris, M.I.A., Thievery Corporation, LCD Soundsystem to name a few. Now you have the opportunity to add my name to the bill.

Red Bull Emsee - I'm in!
Get ready! This Thursday the Red Bull Emsee event stops by Number's Night Club in Houston. I'm 1 of 8 MC's invited to compete in front of a legendary panel of Judges that will include Bun B, Rhymefest and 9th Wonder.
The event is FREE (which means NO COVER) and features a live performance by Rhymefest.
What's at stake? For one respect, but ultimately the winner of the battle will fly to Detroit to compete in the national finals, which will be judged by World renown MC and star of 8 Mile Eminem.
